You may prefer to spend your days ambling along Cape Cod’s famous Olde King’s Highway, Route 6A, which has been designated as one of the ten outstanding scenic byways in America. The road gracefully winds its way 34 miles though the villages of Sandwich, West Barnstable, Barnstable, Yarmouthport, Dennis and Brewster, roughly paralleling the coastline of Cape Cod Bay.
Sandy Neck Beach, a classic barrier beach, stretches for eight miles along Cape Cod Bay less than two miles from our doorstep. Abutting the beach are acres of conservation land and protected salt marsh just perfect for bird-watching, hiking, kayaking, and sport fishing. No matter if you choose to go for a bike ride, on a whale-watch boat, play a round of golf, shop for antiques, or visit the plethora of unique and interesting museums in the area, everything is within a few short miles of the Inn.
